The Approach
All children deserve to be treated with dignity and respect while learning. Their potential and uniqueness should be celebrated and taken into account when educational plans are being made for them. The Orton-Gillingham (OG) approach is necessary for students with learning differences such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, and developmental language disorder. The OG approach helps students learn in clear, manageable steps. Lessons are hands-on and multisensory, making reading and spelling feel accessible and achievable. Every plan is individualized so students grow at a pace that is right for them.
Avaliable Services and Programs

Dyslexia Therapy
Students are given a diagnostic assessment to determine the best course of study. Dyslexia Therapy programs used may be Take Flight, JET, Phonics First, Structures, or The DuBard Association Method. Dyslexia therapy sessions include phonemic and phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, basic handwriting, and reading comprehension.

Handwriting
Foundations & Interventions
Handwriting sessions are available to support development of manuscript or cursive handwriting. In these sessions, we work on developing and strengthening students' fine motor skills, multisensory letter formation, paper/practice, and personalized strategies to improve legibility, spacing, and confidence.

Written Expression Essentials
In written expression sessions, students identify and work with parts of speech, build and revise sentences, and practice using punctuation through interactive, hands-on activities that help them apply grammar in their writing. They also learn how to properly craft paragraphs and essays. The evidence based program used is Paragraphology.
